I also bow to the powerful guidance of Amazonian healers who gifted me their medicine and vision: Don Alejandro Jahuanchi and Don Alberto Manqueriapa of the Huachipeyry Matsiguenga Nation, Don Kumpashin of the Ashuar Nation, and the Shipibo elders Doña Juanita Valle, my beloved ‘Mama Selmira, the Mamas Rocio, Lidia, Celestina and Amelia.
